We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Director to lead our IT infrastructure group! As the IT infrastructure Director you will be responsible for teams in these areas of expertise - System and Linux, Networking, HelpDesk, Storage and virtualization. The candidate will strategically oversee IT infrastructure planning and operations, drive high availability, implement security policies, and optimize budgets and vendor relationships. You will work closely with the entire infrastructure teams, including DevOps, SRE and Security. 

• Strategic Management: Define and implement the IT infrastructure strategy, develop an annual roadmap, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of organizational goals.
• Team Management: Directly manage and professionally develop team leads (System, Networking, HelpDesk, and a combined team), set clear KPIs, and maintain oversight.
• Operations and Maintenance: Ensure availability and stability of infrastructure, lead proactive maintenance, technological upgrades, and automation initiatives.
• Information Security: Implement security policies according to Security team guidelines, ensure compliance with standards, and coordinate regularly with the Security team. 
• Vendor and Budget Management: Manage procurement budgets, control expenditures, and optimize infrastructure-related costs.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python).
• Experience in information security and cybersecurity.
• Knowledge and practical experience in cloud environments.
• Knowledge and experience in the field of secured network communications and large scale complex network solutions

• At least 5 years of experience managing technical teams in System, Networking, and HelpDesk.
• Proven experience in senior management position as a manager of multiple teams. 
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with IT infrastructure (operating systems, virtualization, storage, networking).
• Experience managing complex projects in mid-to-large-sized organizations.
• Proven ability to establish efficient workflows, internal SLAs, and matrix management.
• Strong independent decision-making skills, proactive risk management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Vendor management and Information Technology budget management and planning.
