HR Specialist (replacement for ML)

About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on and proactive HR Specialist to join our team and ensure the smooth running of all Human Resources processes.

This role includes end-to-end ownership of HR operations – from recruitment and employee lifecycle management to payroll and welfare activities.

The position is initially a maternity leave replacement, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment cycle – from job postings and CV screening to interviews and candidate communication.
Lead smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
Oversee payroll processing, prepare monthly salary reports for the controller, update raises, bonuses, and employment changes, and liaise with insurance agents in the process.
Serve as the go-to person for employees on HR-related matters across the employee lifecycle, including leaves of absence, welfare, and personal queries.
Ensure seamless day-to-day HR activities, including maintaining and updating the HR system (bob).
Assist in planning and executing company-wide activities, programs, and welfare initiatives to foster a positive and engaging work environment.

Requirements
2–3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
Previous experience in a startup environment – a must.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
Positive, approachable, and solution-oriented mindset.
Fast learner, proactive, and resourceful.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Hands-on experience with bob HRIS.
