Mechanical FEA Engineer

Support engineering processes by conducting mechanical simulations.
Developing new products with emphasis on structural lightweight plastic solutions
Exploring and implementing innovative technologies, advanced materials following market future trends.

Optimized engineering/technological solution based on research and analysis.
The development engineer has a significant part in development stages, by predicting and examining possible concepts and outcomes.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Examine the technical requirements for the performance of the development part, in parallel with research and study the developments available in the market.
Brainstorming and examining concepts in order to improve or completely invention from scratch.
Preliminary development of the selected concepts and running preliminary analyses and examinations.
Detail development and simulations for the chosen concept.
Development and support the manufacturing stage of the technological demonstration, including the production tools.
Planning and running a critical performance validation for the technological demonstration.
Conclude the test performed, making adjustments and optimizations to the original development and analysis.
Summarize a detailed technical report on the entire development process described above, which includes the important issues that arose during it and conclusions for continuation (both for the client and for the organization), including finalize documentation at PLM system.
Guiding and fitting development process for serial/mass production and technological readiness. Responsible for providing answers and technical support to the various parties involved in the project.

At each stage of the development process described above, the following can be included3D CADs, 2D drawings, product design, production tool design, fixture design, structural simulations, manufacturing simulations, and quotes receiving from suppliers.

Education and Experience

Mechanical Engineering degree – must.
Excellent understanding and proven experience in development – must.
Proven experience in plastic – an advantage.
Familiarity with the automotive industry - an advantage.
Proven experience in FEA simulation – an advantage.
