Monstera Games creates super fun, high-quality HTML5 casual games that are published on some of the biggest gaming platforms in the world, reaching millions of players globally.

We’re looking for an exceptionally talented and passionate HTML5 Game Developer to join our studio in Haifa. A gamer by nature, someone who lives games, loves playing them, and deeply understands the core elements that make a game truly fun.

This role is for someone with a strong creative vision and the technical know-how to bring that vision to life. Someone who can see a game in their head, understand how it should feel, and turn it into a polished, playable experience.

Requirements:

A deep and inherent passion for games, demonstrated by playing, analyzing, and caring about them.
Strong foundation in game mechanics, flow, and understanding the overall player experience.
Solid technical art familiarity: A developer who appreciates and understands visual quality, animation, effects, timing, and polish, and knows how to blend art and code seamlessly.
Creative vision paired with the technical capability for independent execution.
Excellent programming fundamentals and proven creative problem-solving skills.
High standards for quality, keen attention to detail, and a strong sense of game feel.
A portfolio of playable demos or a public GitHub repository.
Good visual aesthetic and sensitivity to motion, player feedback, and overall game feel.

Our Tech Stack:

Core Focus: HTML5 Game Development.
Main Engines: Construct3 and Unity
A strong plus: Familiarity with PlayCanvas, Blender, and other 3D engines and platforms

Responsibilities:

Develop HTML5 casual games from the concept phase to a fully playable product.
Design and implement core gameplay mechanics, user interfaces (UI), animations, and player interactions.
Take ownership of specific features, and sometimes the entire game development cycle.
Collaborate closely with artists and product managers to deliver high-quality, fun, and cohesive games.
Prioritize game feel, technical performance, and maximizing player engagement.
Optimize games for flawless performance across diverse devices and platforms.
Manage the workflow and trackers according to the tasks assigned and completed.
