Wix is looking for a sharp, driven PR Expert to join our External Communications team in Tel Aviv. This role is ideal for an experienced communications professional who combines strong media instincts with excellent execution, judgment, and operational discipline.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Communications, acting as a strategic and operational partner across the team. You’ll help shape and execute PR activities focused on international media, build strong relationships with journalists, build media lists, executive social media, press releases, research, and identify and pursue compelling stories, and make sure the team stays aligned, organized, and moving forward.

The right person is highly proactive, comfortable moving quickly, and able to switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You’ll need to know what makes a story newsworthy, how to position it effectively, and when to push, adapt, or change direction.

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute proactive PR activities focused on international media, supporting Wix’s business, product, corporate, and reputational goals.

• Identify compelling stories, develop strong angles, and pitch them to international journalists, podcasters, TV producers, and other media professionals to secure meaningful coverage across print, digital, podcast, and television platforms.

• Build and maintain strong relationships across international business, technology, consumer, and industry media.

• Partner with spokespeople and internal stakeholders to develop messaging and prepare for interviews, appearances, launches, events, partnerships, research, and other high-profile moments.

• Track trends and conversations across social media and relevant digital channels, and turn them into timely, engaging posts and content opportunities.

• Act as a trusted strategic and operational partner to the Head of Communications, helping set priorities and keep the team aligned and moving forward.

• Manage key workflows, timelines, meetings, deliverables, and cross-functional dependencies, ensuring activities are executed efficiently and to a high standard.

• Prepare communications plans, briefing documents, talking points, press materials, and media reports.

• Respond quickly and thoughtfully to emerging media opportunities, issues, and reputational challenges.

• Track coverage and PR outcomes across international media, identify insights, and use them to strengthen future activities.

• Support crisis and issues-management efforts when needed.

• 5+ years of experience in public relations or strategic communications, either at a PR agency or in-house at a technology company.

• A strong track record of developing media lists, relationships and securing high-quality coverage.

• Excellent pitching skills and a deep understanding of what makes a story relevant, timely, and compelling to journalists and other media professionals.

• Sharp communications instincts and the ability to quickly assess opportunities, risks, and the right course of action.

• Excellent judgment, particularly in ambiguous, sensitive, or fast-moving situations.

• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex topics clear, concise, and engaging.

• Strong project and operational management skills, with an ability to keep multiple workstreams organized and on track.

• The ability to work at speed without compromising quality or attention to detail.

• Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

• A highly proactive, hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership.

• Native English is a must. Hebrew proficiency is an advantage.

• A genuine interest in technology, business, culture, social media, and the stories shaping the world around us.

• Must use industry standard tools like Muckrack, Meltwater, Notified.
