We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our R&D group located in Rehovot, Israel.

In this role you will:

• Design electronic boards which have both digital & analog parts.

• Develop VHDL code which supports electronics modules of 3D printers. The relevant modules include communication and data transfer as well as motion control and other control loops such as temperature control.

• Be responsible end-to-end for the boards in the machine including design, VHDL coding, debugging and integration of boards, writing documentation, defining HW/SW interface and compliance.

• Support existing products while interfacing with Engineering and Customer Support groups.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering- mandatory.

• At least 8 years’ experience in board design in complex and multidisciplinary projects as an R&D engineer - mandatory.

• Knowledge of all aspects of board development – schematic, layout, bring-up & DVT, documentation, and integration - mandatory.

• Capability of writing & handling complex Verilog/VHDL code, include using simulation tools - mandatory.

• Experience with A/D and D/A components and general analog circuits - mandatory.

• Experience in designing DC/DC power supplies and considerations for power budget – mandatory.

• Experience with SPI, UART, I2C – mandatory.

• Experience with PCIe, Ethernet protocols, USB 3.0, HDMI – an advantage.

• Experience with Lattice devices – an advantage.

• Intermediate English
