Backend Engineer

At Gigaspaces we create a platform that allows our customers to develop and expose their data driven microservices efficiently and fast. We use the latest and most advanced technology stack that can be run on any Cloud/Cloud-Native environment. We are now in the process of building the new application and next-generation features and looking for a Backend Engineer to join this effort.

This position is full time, hybrid, in our offices in Herzliya.

Responsibilities:

Generative AI Innovation Project:

Contribute to the ongoing development of an AI innovation project, starting from conceptualization to implementation
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the AI capabilities

Core Product (XAP) Development:

Implement new features and enhancements to meet evolving customer needs and market demands
Provide ongoing support, handle bugs, and resolve issues that have arisen
Optimize the performance and efficiency of existing product functionalities
Requirements
BSc in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics
At least 2 years experience on hands-on backend development – must
Proficient in Java and Python – must
Experience in cloud production environment - must
Experience with Databases (SQL and No-SQL) – advantage
