Technical Support Engineer

OpenLegacy is an innovative API integration platform serving large enterprises in their digital transformation journey. OpenLegacy is designed for Java and IT developers to build APIs from various core backends (IBM, Oracle, SAP, etc) using best-of-breed Java stack (Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, eclipse, etc.)

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
• Providing product support to our customers and customer success teams. Helping with POC stages, helping with onboarding issues and helping with post-sales implementation.
• Gaining product expertise by creating demos for new product features.
• Monitoring the company support SaaS environment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
• Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions

Requirements

• Experience of 1 year as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Maven, and Gradle environments.
• Ability to write code in C #, Java- is a must
• Understanding the concepts of REST API, microservices, and their ecosystem: API-Gateway, Oauth, and TLS Protocols
• Understanding the concepts of containers Docker and Container Orchestration
• Familiar with SaaS and Cloud environments
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field- advantage.
• Fluency in multiple languages, such as Spanish, is an advantage
