About The Position

Join a dynamic start-up company that is focused on revolutionizing how the verification and validation of Automated Driving Systems is done. Be part of the Product Team responsible for defining the technical requirements, concepts, and priorities for the Foretellix V-Suite Product and other parts of our product portfolio. The V-Suite Product is a library of abstract scenarios based on the ASAM OpenSCENARIO DSL (2.0) standard along with the associated coverage, KPI, and check metrics for testing Automated Driving Systems. The Foretify Test Generation Product automatically creates massive variations of meaningful tests and edge cases from a single abstract scenario description. As a V-Suites Product Engineer or Product Manager, your main focus will be to work with our customers to understand their challenges and goals for testing Autonomous Driving Systems, and translate those challenges and goals into technical requirements for the abstract scenarios and related KPIs and metrics which are delivered in the V-Suites Product or as part of our Foretify Core Product. You will also fill the role of being an expert on the V-Suites Product to provide technical guidance, training, and assistance to our Application Engineers and Account Managers who are responsible for deploying the product on customer projects.

Responsibilities:

Understand and analyze the testing and evaluation requirements for Automated Driving Systems for scenarios, KPIs, coverage, and checks needed to support a Safety Case for those systems.
Define V-Suites Product requirements and use cases based on the needs of our customers and work with Product Management and R&D to drive the product roadmap and priorities.
Work with R&D to conceptualize and help define new V-Suites abstract scenarios for urban, suburban, and highway ODDs.
Provide deep technical V-Suites product expertise to support our field teams as they adapt and deploy it to our customers. This includes hands-on work and oftentimes being directly involved in customer engagements as they evaluate the product.
Create technical product presentations and demos and deliver demos to Foretellix customers and prospects onsite, via virtual meetings, and at tradeshows.
Train and ramp-up the field team on new product features and the value the product brings to our customers.
Requirements
Experience in the ADAS/AV domain (ideally with SAE L3 systems or above), V&V, testing, and simulation.
At least a basic understanding of vehicle dynamics and the underlying physics.
Experience defining, executing, and analyzing tests extracted from physical drives either in open-loop replay or in closed-loop simulation, on HIL and/or SIL environments.
Experience in agile development processes, ideally in a Product Owner, Product Engineer,
Product Manager, or Systems Engineer role.
BSc or above in the areas of Computer Science,
Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or other related fields.
Have excellent human relationship skills, as well as excellent listening, and teaching capabilities.
Be communicative and fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.
Be willing to travel occasionally to visit customer sites in different parts of the world.
Eligible to work in Israel or Europe.
Be a team-player, resourceful, and professional.

Advantages:

Knowledge in Software Engineering with some experience
on ASAM OPENSCENARIO 1.X or 2.x and/or in programming using languages like Python or C++
Employee in one of the companies developing ADAS and
AV systems, or one of the companies serving them.
Knowledge and experience working with ADAS/AV Simulators, replay systems, dSpace RTMaps, BPlus Tools, etc…
Experience with Functional Safety, SOTIF or other safety related standards and/or in standards defining test requirements for ADAS/AV systems.
MSc or above in the areas of Computer Science,
Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or other related fields.
