Product Engineer

Nova is looking for a Product Engineer to lead the integration and qualification of hardware and software platforms across tool development life cycles. This role is an integral part of the System group, supporting system-level integration from concept to post-release service support.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in complex HW/SW system development and testing
Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in system verification
Ability to perform comprehensive root cause analysis process
Fluent English and excellent communication skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel abroad, once per quarter
Python data analysis knowledge- Significant advantage
Experience with optics-based systems - Advantages
Background in the semiconductor industry - Advantages
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams - Advantages

Role Responsibilities:

What will you be doing:

Lead system integration, verification, and validation across HW & SW domains
Own and manage HW/SW version integration and qualification
Own product BOM configurations, I(A)TPs and service documentation
Lead small scale projects, end-to-end
Drive installation and qualification activities for beta and pre-FAI tools, including service and production knowledge transfer
Support system development life cycle: specification, integration, troubleshooting, release, and post-release
Generate and maintain draft documentation for the Engineering and Service teams
Conduct service and engineering training activities
Lead system-level integration projects and manage cross-functional escalations
Serve as an escalation point for production and field service issues, working closely with service experts and engineering teams
