Field Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated *IT Support / Field Engineer* to provide onsite and remote technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues. This is a freelance, ticket-based contract role where you will be dispatched to the client’s site as needed.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Respond to IT support requests and attend onsite client visits as needed.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
* Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment (PCs, servers, routers, printers, etc.).
* Resolve connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
* Perform routine system maintenance and software upgrades.
* Maintain clear records of support activities, resolutions, and follow-ups.
* Communicate technical solutions effectively to clients.
* Collaborate with remote support teams to ensure timely resolution.
* Conduct preventive maintenance and system health checks.
* Stay up to date with the latest IT trends and tools.

*Requirements:*

* Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or field engineering roles.
* Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and common software/hardware issues.
* Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, and Linux environments.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

* Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.
* Experience using remote monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
* Background in SLA-driven service environments.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 570.00₪ - 600.00₪ per day

Willingness to travel:
