Junior Bookkeeper

About The Position

We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our finance team (replacement for maternity leave)

Responsibilities:

Recording daily financial transactions.
Recording credit card transactions, invoices, payments, and monthly reconciliation.
Responsible for bank accounts including daily reconciliation and monthly controls.
Process travel & expenses reports and maintain approval flow.
Perform all activities related to accounts payable including reviewing and processing payments to local and foreign vendors, preparing AP reconciliation, AP aging reports, and recording vendor invoices.
Assisting with month-end closing and other projects as needed.
Working closely with the Lead Bookkeeper and the rest of the Finance Team.
Assisting with other bookkeeping responsibilities (for example, payments to suppliers, VAT returns, etc.)
Requirements
Certified bookkeeper – Level 2 – Must.
Proficient in English.
1-2 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
Technologically oriented person.
High level of quality awareness and attention to detail.
Experience in working with multiple currencies, and multiple entities/subsidiaries.
Able to work independently, follow tasks through to completion
MS Office Proficiency, especially with Excel.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Pleasant person to work with, high level of integrity, well-organized, independent, team player with excellent interpersonal relationships, a “can-do” approach.
Experience with NetSuite ERP system – an advantage.
