Performance Test Engineer

As a Performance Test Engineer, you will take part in ensuring the quality of INFINIDAT's revolutionary, enterprise-grade storage system, including its software suite, and infrastructure.

You will participate in the whole life-cycle of products and versions, working closely with the company departments – from Product Requirements, through R&D and Test Automation development, to Professional Services and Support.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as QA engineer, testing complex testbeds and distributed software systems.
Proven experience in performance testing.
Practical knowledge of Linux, Unix and Windows operating systems.
Practical knowledge of computer networking and/or storage SAN and NAS protocols.
An autodidact with strong communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system issues in complex, high-performance storage environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with execution, debugging, and writing of scripts (Python/Bash)
Experience with HW testing
Experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare/HyperV/KVM
Bachelor’s degree in computer science

Responsibilities:

Perform performance testing for the company leading storage solution.
Participate in E2E R&D processes, requirement, development, test design reviews
Setup and maintain complex testbeds.
Test, investigation and analysis challenging scenarios.
Work with high-end load-generators, manual and automated tests, and other tools to execute our enterprise-grade storage to its limits.
