GE Healthcare MI PET/CT group is looking for an outstanding software engineer for its software team.

Responsible for programing an application, feature and or feature set.

Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business.

You will also contribute to design discussions.

*Roles and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure

• Drive increased efficiency across the team, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse

• Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge

• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance

• Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness

*Desired Characteristics/Technical Expertise

B.A./B.Sc. in CS/EE from a leading institution / experience from IDF tech units.

At least 3 years of developing complex application with C/C++/Java.

Experience building complex multithreaded software.

Excellent knowledge of OO design principles and patterns.

Excellent verbal and communication skills.

*Advantage skills:

Familiarity with HW/SW interfaces.

Familiarity with Linux OS.

Passion for quality and experience in writing well tested code.

Experience working in Agile settings (Scrum/Kanban).
