Backend Engineering Team Leader - Hands-on

Software company with office in Har Hotzvim seeks an experienced and talented Backend Engineering Team Leader. This position is full time (7-8 hours a day) at the office on Har Hotzvim. Requirements: 8-12 years of significant software development 2+ years of significant experience in managing a development team Experience with Python, or significant experience with Java/.NET Core and a willingness to learn Python on the job Good understanding of Object-Oriented design Experience with complex SQL queries High degree of English Communication skills (Oral & Written) Ability to understand customer requirements and see the bigger picture Experience in self-education and ability to cope with new challenges Experience with Agile Methodology Excellent logical thinking and understanding of complex processes Thoroughness, accuracy striving to eliminate bugs – before code reaches QA) Sense of ownership (ensuring collaborative success beyond personal tasks) Genuine enthusiasm for software development work Advantages: Experience with Django, Django Rest Framework Familiarity with Microservice architecture Understanding of Multi-threading Proficiency with Linux Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments Familiarity with PostgreSQL This position is full time (7-8 hours a day) at the office on Har Hotzvim.
