We are looking for a Junior Web Accessibility Expert to join our accessServices team.As a Web Accessibility Expert you will be part of the web accessibility specialists team. You will test and evaluate customers’ websites and applications for accessibility. The role can include other administrative tasks in the process of making websites accessible. This is an excellent opportunity for Junior developers who are interested in pursuing this niche expertise in the world of web development and user experience design, together with making a real impact in the world.

The accessServices department is responsible for providing web accessibility expert services to insure website accessibility to people with disabilities in compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and company standards.

What you'll be doing:

Evaluate clients' websites and applications for accessibility, using published technical standards and guidelines, as well as accessiBe's internal tools.
Collaborate with different teams in the company to review work and consult on web accessibility.
Verify the accessibility quality of received work from vendors.
Conduct User Testing with people with disabilities and translate the result into a meaningful report.

Requirements:

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and their implementation. - Advantage.
Some prior experience with software testing or QA. - Advantage
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Full Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
