Software Engineering Internship - Secure Flow SupportOps Team (Ra'anana, Israel)

Job Summary

The Red Hat’s Secure Flow (SF) SupportOps team is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Ra’anana, Israel. The team is part of the SF organization, and as of now focused on Konflux. Konlfux provides Software Supply Chain Security (SSCS) services to all of Red Hat's software development teams, and some of its upstream communities.

In this role, you will work with a group of talented software engineers and contributors across the globe.
You will work with Red Hat’s latest open source technologies, such as Kubernetes, Tekton, ArgoCD, Terraform and Openshift. As part of the SupportOps team you will implement and develop tooling and utilities for the support team to use in their work. The work includes integrating with internal AI tools, training AI models, and more, as part of the development of our features.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Participate in the development of Red Hat's productization and release systems

Submit code changes with new features and bug fixes, and review PRs/MRs from other team members.

Work in a global team, including teams in EMEA, NA, and APAC

Ability to work in a new and fast-changing environment with a high level of uncertainty, reacting to changes in requirements quickly

Contribute to the improvement of internal processes, tools, and standards, as well as knowledge base and documentation.

Required Skills

Experience programming in Python or GoLang

Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) infrastructure

Familiarity with Git and GitHub/GitLab as code management platform

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Prior participation in open source software projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Israel during the whole duration of the internship and eligible to begin a full-time role in 2026 or 2027

Must be available for the internship from May 2025 till April 2026
