Description

Overview:

As an LMS Administrator, you will be responsible for the strategic management and operational support of our learning management systems. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining engaging online courses that align with our educational goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless learning experience for our employees and students.

Key Responsibilities

Plan for the evolution of our learning management systems
Build new courses and course content; modify existing courses and course content
Create branded courses for each of our universities
Provide support to LMS users (employees and students)
Learn and follow (or build) our LMS administration protocols
Meet delivery dates for content from multiple constituencies
Communicate with other LMS Administrators to keep them informed of progress
Collaborate closely with the Education Team and all curriculum teams
Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field
Proven experience administering and managing a Learning Management System (LMS), such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle
Strong proficiency in authoring tools and content management systems
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design theories
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience working with APIs and/or LTIs
