Job Summary

Summary:

The “Import / Export Administrator” will be based in ……., reporting to ……

In charge of performing the administrative tasks for tracking inbound and outbound shipments of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Verify and maintain records on inbound and outbound shipments and invoices.
Ensure that suppliers and/or brokers meet required performance indicators.
Interface with transportation suppliers regarding rate management.
Maintain high quality service levels for new and existing suppliers, customers, and transport lanes
Interface with Trade Compliance and/or Customs Brokers directly to ensure appropriate transport flows and requirements met.
Support cost and quote forecasting with partnership of Finance.
Produce reoccurring reports as directed by business management.
Organize regular business reviews for all suppliers.
Responsible of standards and disciplines for transport operations.
Ensure compliance of supplier contracts and pricing.
Partner with business management and Trade Compliance as inconsistencies arise.

Qualifications:

Typically requires completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent.
Typically requires 6+ years of related experience.
