Backend Developer

What You'll Do

You'll be responsible for building Mitiga's cutting-edge solutions while working with a broad range of technologies, disciplines, and cyber-defense-related applications. You'll contribute to the company's evolving culture, bring innovative approaches, and learn from talented colleagues.

Requirements:

Who You Are

4+ years of experience in backend development
TypeScript as a primary programming language
Cloud expertise — deep understanding of at least one major cloud vendor (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP)
Database experience — hands-on work with MongoDB, SQL, or similar
AI-assisted development — proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar; comfortable using AI to accelerate development workflows, code reviews, and problem-solving
Architecture & design skills — proven ability to design systems and knowledge of a wide range of technologies
Code quality — high standards for code quality, testing, and performance
Agile methodology — experience working in Agile teams
Strong interpersonal skills — clear communicator and collaborative team player
Self-motivated — innovative, proactive, and can-do attitude

Nice to Have

Prior experience in the cybersecurity domain
Experience with DevOps tools, frameworks, and culture
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
