SW Embedded Engineer

OFIL Ltd., a leader in UV cameras, is seeking a skilled and passionate SW Embedded Engineer to join our dynamic R&D department. As part of our team, you will contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge solutions for the electrical utilities industry. This is a long-term opportunity where you will be responsible for maintaining existing products, infrastructure, and driving new projects.Key Responsibilities:· Gain proficiency in our product portfolio by developing features across various areas, includingpower electronics, control theory, DSP, and communication on different platforms.· Develop software for high end HW platform i.e. QCS8550 .· Take ownership of projects/products from concept to development, debugging, integration, andfield deployment.· Build new SW that integrates sensors, HW (drivers, MCU, CPU ,etc.) and UI.Qualification:· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field· 4-6 years or more of industry experience in embedded programming.· Experience with C/C++ programming languages· Debugging and Software Development proficiency· Experience with multidisciplinary devices and complex embedded module design.· Strong knowledge of digital signal processing design and implementation.· Linux embedded is an advantage.· Experience working with DSP microcontrollers (mandatory).· Familiarity with AI implementation is an advantage.· Ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts.· Experience with electrical component interfaces.· Excellent team player.Join OFIL Ltd. to make a real impact in industries such as healthcare and manufacturing, while enjoying work-life balance and a supportive culture.
