R&D Scrum Master

We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team! As a scrum master, you’ll be responsible for a full-stack scrum team within one of our main R&D groups in Viber.

Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers
Lead an agile team, coordinate and facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily standup, pre-planning/planning, retrospect, etc.
Conduct constant project monitoring, risk management, and mitigation to ensure delivery on time while not compromising on quality
Anticipate and spot impediments, prevent or remove them in order to maintain consequent work-flow and optimized performance
Bridge the gap between strategic and tactical goals, helping create work plans that support a high-performing team
Facilitate and bridge dependencies with external teams and stakeholders

Requirements
2 years experience as a Scrum Master/ R&D Team Leader with proven successful projects – a must
2 years of Hands-On experience with Go or similar backend language
Extensive experience working in agile teams and a deep understanding of agile principles, practices, and values
Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
Excellent interpersonal communication and mentoring skills
Proactive, resourceful, a quick learner with a flexible and inventive approach to work
Methodological, process-oriented approach aiming for constant improvement
Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary and globally distributed teams
Strong English proficiency
B.Sc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering and Management, or similar
Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Advanced Roadmap, Product discovery)
Knowledge of team productivity metrics (velocity, lead/cycle time, scope creep, done rate, gantt charts) and ability to use data for optimizing flows and team performance
