THE ROLE
We are looking for a Group Accountant to join our dedicated finance team and take a key role in managing a group of companies. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the month-end closing and financial reporting processes, with an emphasis on timely, accurate and insightful results and analysis
Support financial planning and analysis that drives business growth, including budgeting and forecasting
Manage accounts payable and receivable – Oversee invoices, payments, collections, and customer/vendor relations, ensuring timely processing and accurate records
Perform payroll operations, ensuring accurate calculations, compliance with tax laws, and timely payment to employees
Drive and implement ongoing improvements across all processes and systems
Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional and global teams
Prepare intercompany transactions and reconciliations within the group
Develop, implement and document financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
Work with local advisors to support tax preparation and filing
Requirements:
Fluent in English (mandatory)
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred;
Proven experience (2+ years) within the software industry or technology sector with a sound understanding of software accounting matters
An understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and regulatory requirements
Advanced Excel (and/or GSheets) skills and experience using accounting platforms such as Priority is preferred
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and persuasively
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities
Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and open communication
Availability for hybrid work (2 days in the office and 3 days remote) in Tel Aviv
