A Day in the Life
• Actively participate in R&D projects focused on algorithm development.
• Guide and mentor engineers within the algorithm team. Foster their professional growth and provide technical leadership.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers on medical device projects, from conceptualization to testing phases.
• Liaise with clinical and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and facilitate submissions to regulatory bodies.
• Design and implement research strategies for technology development initiatives and clinical studies.
• Contribute to the body of knowledge through the publication of technical papers.

Must Haves
Education
• Minimum of MSc. or Ph.D. in science, engineering, or mathematical fields.
Experience
• Advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as algorithm developer with expertise in data science, signal processing and machine learning.
• Expertise in data science, signal processing, machine learning and AI
• Data analysis using advanced analytic tools such, MATLAB, Python, and others as required.
• Designs, develops, analyses, troubleshoots, and provides technical skills during research and/or product development.
• Strong aptitude for mathematics, calculus, and statistics
• Exceptional presentation and reporting skills
• Excellent English (both reading and writing), as all documents are written in English.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineers.

Nice to Haves
• Experience in algorithm development for medical products – Major advantage
• Experience with EEG – Major advantage
• Scientific background in practical mathematics, with experience working in a medical device organization – Advantage.
• Familiarity with Medical device standards (e.g., IEC60601)
• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
