About the Role: As a Controller, you will play a critical role in managing our company's financial health and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Your expertise will contribute to strategic decision-making and guide our financial operations toward success.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the bookkeeper’s work, ensuring accuracy, meeting timelines, and complying with accounting standards.
Perform hands-on bookkeeping tasks when required to ensure seamless financial operations.
Focus on revenue management, including collaborating with the sales operations team, reviewing sales orders (SOs), building schedule billing plans, and managing revenue recognition processes.
Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually).
Monitor and manage cash flow, expenses, billing, and collection processes.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain operational efficiency.
Lead the coordination of external and internal audits, ensuring compliance and providing necessary documentation.
Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data, provide insights, and support decision-making.
Work closely with inventory management processes and ensure alignment with financial reporting.
What You Bring:
More than 2 years of experience as an assistant controller or controller (post-internship).
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license (mandatory).
Familiarity with revenue recognition in SaaS companies, including hardware components (advantageous).
Hands-on experience with inventory-related financial processes.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, SOX compliance, and financial reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in NetSuite (mandatory) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.
Ability to collaborate across teams and guide financial strategies.
