Bluespine-Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager, with a hands-on approach,

hands-on approach to conduct the monthly financial statements and the KPIs analysis of the company, in order to drive the company's financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as identifying potential risks and investment opportunities. This is a full-time position, based in our Tel Aviv HQ.

A Director of Finance at Bluespine is a reliable professional with broad knowledge of accounting, financial, and business principles. They are strategic thinkers and effective leaders who can make data-driven, profitable decisions that support the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
Maintain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act strategically from a forward-looking perspective.
Establish and oversee the company’s finance IT systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel.
Manage insurance policies and liaise with brokers to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Oversee all audit and internal control operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Maintaining financial projections and performing budget vs. actual analysis
Support corporate fundraising strategy, including managing investor relations and financial due diligence processes.
Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance, including monthly and annual statements.
Conduct financial analysis, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
Ensure adherence to financial laws, tax regulations, and corporate governance best practices.
Collaborate closely with the executive team to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Background in one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
Proven experience as a Director of Finance or senior financial leadership role in a dynamic startup environment.
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management software (e.g., Priority).
Experience with financial systems configuration – an advantage.
Strong analytical mindset with a strategic, problem-solving approach.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and team management skills.
