Job summary

Spot by NetApp is looking for a passionate, super-talented Product Designer to join our global design team to help us take our product's user experience to new heights and showcase our customer obsession with the best UX and UI possible. You will work closely with the Design Lead, Product Manager, developers, and other Product Designers.
You would need to understand and empathize with the users, understand the vision and the product strategy, understand what we're trying to solve, have experience solving such significant B2B complex system challenges, and bring it all together to great product designs.

In this role you'll

Understand a product's lifecycle from research through prototyping, design, and usability testing
Solve complex product challenges with design
Conduct user research for validating product concepts
Hands-on UI design
Professionally hand off UI and UX to different stakeholders
Quickly iterate on design solutions
Become a valuable member of the design team and promote winning ideas and decisions
5+ years of product design experience
Broad understanding of usability and user experience principles
Pixel-perfect attitude, with attention to the smallest of details
Mastery of Figma, prototyping, and other relevant tools
B2B and complex system experience
Great communication skills with diverse audiences and stakeholders
Experience in agile environments
Job requirements

What you'll need

Strong portfolio showcasing your skills
B.A. in Visual Communication
Basic dev skills- advantage
Knowledge and experience with Cloud environment - advantage (a desire to know more about these topics is an advantage too)
