Lead Backend Software Engineer

Front Story is launching an exciting new company and seeking top talent for our innovative startup. We are looking for a brilliant and highly capable Lead Backend Software Engineer to lead the development of our flagship user-facing product. You will be responsible for creating a world-class app from the ground up in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This hands-on leadership role is a key part of our founding team. You will start as the sole Android expert and eventually grow and manage a mobile development team.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of the core systems and algorithms powering our business.
Architect and build the backend infrastructure for our consumer app.
Manage complex large-scale data infrastructure and integrations with major platforms in the gaming and advertising domains.
Collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

Tech Stack:

Our stack includes Go, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Snowflake, and more.

Requirements:

5+ years of software engineering experience.
Exceptional coding skills in a high level type-safe language (Java, C#, Typescript, Go, Rust etc).
Experience working on a cloud based service-oriented system.
Availability to work mainly from our office in Tel Aviv.
Experience coding with Go - an advantage.
Experience building data infrastructure - an advantage.
Experience as a software entrepreneur or an early stage employee - an advantage.
