Description

abra R&D is seeking an experienced COBOL Mainframe Developer

We are looking for a seasoned COBOL Mainframe Developer to join a senior team responsible for core systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain COBOL-based financial systems on IBM Mainframe.
Work with Batch and Online processes to support core banking operations.
Collaborate in an Agile team of 3-5 developers.
Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
Ensure seamless system integration with DB2 databases.
Respond to urgent inquiries, including occasional availability outside standard working hours.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a COBOL Mainframe Developer.
IBM Mainframe expertise is required.
Strong knowledge of Batch and Online processing.
Experience with DB2 databases.
Ability to analyze and document business processes (business knowledge is a plus).
Mandatory experience in financial institutions.
