Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with background in security research, malware analysis, microservices architecture, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced security solutions, conducting in-depth malware analysis, and contributing to the development of our static analysis malware engines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement advanced malware protection in a microservices environment.
Lead and conduct security research to identify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
Perform advanced malware analysis, reverse engineering, and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate our scanners into Mimecast platform.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in cybersecurity, malware analysis, and software engineering.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent training.
6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on microservices, security research and malware analysis.
Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java.
Deep understanding of microservices architecture and experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Extensive knowledge of operating system internals (Windows, Linux, macOS).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with reverse engineering tools and techniques (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra).
Experience with security tools and frameworks (e.g., Metasploit, Wireshark, Snort).
Experience with AWS
Published research or contributions to the cybersecurity community.
