Accountant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. This role is vital in managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with IFRS and UAE tax laws.

Record daily financial transactions and ensure that general ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations are accurate and up to date.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Liaise with internal departments and external auditors to support audit activities.

Monitor cash flow and assist in preparing financial forecasts.

Prepare VAT returns and ensure full compliance with FTA (Federal Tax Authority) regulations.

Maintain and update fixed asset registers, and conduct regular asset audits.

Support and improve internal financial controls and accounting procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or other ERP systems.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
