Experienced Computer Vision Algorithm Developer

Mobileye's EyeC Lidar develops next-generation high-performance long-range LiDAR systems for autonomously driving vehicles.The project involves cutting-edge electro-optic modules for FMCW LIDAR, HW, VLSI, mechanics, SW, FW, signal processing and computer vision Algorithms.Our computer vision team is responsible for creating state-of-the-art perception algorithms based on our 4D pointcloud. This includes defining the data sets and scenarios for data collection, analyzing the collected data and modeling it, defining the algorithm and implementing it, while giving feedback to the Lidar's development team for constant improvement of the sensor itself.What will your job look like?Handle the pointcloud, learn both its underlying geometrical and statistical modelAnalyze defects and effects in the pointcloud and feedback the signal processing, system and optics teamsDevelop and code (in Matlab / Python / OpenCV and more) algorithms (some examples are ego motion estimation, hazards detection, objects classification, motion estimation, and drivable space identification)Define data collection scenarios for validation and testing of your algorithms,Get labeled data analyze it and feedback on its quality.Analyze the performance of your algorithms, optimize its complexity and run-time.All you need is:MSc in relevant domain (SW Engineering / Computer Science / EE)At least 3 years of relevant work experienceExperience with model-driven solutionsGood software skillsExcellent teamwork skills, flexibility and capability to work in a fast-paced work environment while supporting field tests and other team tasksExperience in optimized implementation and/or algorithm design for Embedded platforms- an advantageExperience in MATLAB - an advantageExperience with data-driven solutions - an advantageMobileye changes the way we drive, from preventing accidents to semi and fully autonomous vehicles.
