We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Marketing to lead our global marketing team at 8fig. As a member of the management team, reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive our marketing strategy, lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Your expertise in performance marketing, coupled with your leadership skills, will be instrumental in scaling our marketing efforts and achieving our ambitious growth targets.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the global marketing team, including performance marketing, partnerships, social media, content, and design.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive new leads, acquire new customers, and generate revenue.
Spearhead performance marketing efforts across multiple channels, ensuring a data-driven approach.
Own the performance marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation to maximize ROI while maintaining cost discipline.
Forecast, track, and report on campaign performance and budget utilization.
Innovate and integrate new strategies into the marketing mix.
Oversee content marketing initiatives and optimize marketing funnels.
Hire, mentor, and develop marketing talent.
Oversee demand generation and customer acquisition campaigns (paid, organic, lifecycle, partnerships, etc.)
Own and lead 8fig’s global marketing strategy across all stages of the funnel – from brand awareness to conversion and retention
Take full responsibility for demand generation: the marketing team is the growth engine of the company, accountable for bringing qualified leads into the funnel and supporting revenue goals
Manage and optimize key performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, and LTV.
Skills:
Performance Marketing: Extensive experience in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through various digital channels.
Budget Management: Experience in owning and managing marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI.
Data-driven: Strong analytical skills to track, report, and optimize campaign performance.
Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.
Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional marketing team spanning content, design, growth, partnerships, and brand.
Requirements:
10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 in a leadership role.
Proven success in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and growing B2B or B2B2C businesses – in the eCommerce space. Shopify and Amazon are a big plus.
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability – Experience in fintech, eCommerce, or SaaS.
Deep understanding of marketing funnels, bidding strategies, and attribution models.
Demonstrated leadership experience in hiring, mentoring, and scaling marketing teams.
Strong analytical skills and a data-first mindset – comfortable with tools like Google Analytics, Hubspot, Partner stack and marketing attribution platforms.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with strong ownership and accountability.
