R&D Director

Requirements:

Academic degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience leading, managing, and scaling R&D teams, preferably in startup environments
8+ years of experience in scaling software engineering
Proficiency in AWS
Cross-platform knowledge (web, mobile, back-end, data)
Experience in engineering best practices (code reviews, testing coverage, agile methodologies)
Tech-savvy, data-oriented, entrepreneurial leader
Results-oriented with a focus on achieving objectives
Excellent command of English

Responsibilities:

Lead three large development groups, overseeing teams for microservices platform development
Understand the business thoroughly, to ensure data drives actionable business insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and prioritize feature development
Oversee software product design, development, testing, and deployment
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet business objectives and deadlines
Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing
Mentor team members for professional growth
Innovate for efficiency
