Materials Engineer - Temporary Position

We are looking for a motivated Materials Engineer to join our growing team at Mobileye’s Quality & Reliability Lab in Haifa. This role focuses on supporting physical robustness and reliability of automotive ECUs and components. You will work closely with other lab teams and engineering groups and will receive guidance and training from the senior engineers and team leaders.
What will your job look like?
Physical analysis of failing electronic components & Systems
Operating X-ray machine for non-destructive analysis of electrical circuits
Preparing metallographic sections of PCBs & components for failure analysis purposes
Writing laboratory reports according to customer & IPC-A-610 specifications
All you need is:
Materials engineering student or B.Sc. in materials engineering.
At least 2 years of experience in metallurgy, preferably in electronics industry
Ability to learn and follow detailed test procedures
Strong hands-on experience with lab equipment: Microscopes, stereoscope, sample preparation machines and Xray machines.
Ability to read and write documentation in English.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and in a team.
