Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join a team of data science professionals in a leading defense organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders, translate business needs into research challenges, and deliver innovative solutions through advanced modeling and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements, conduct research, and deliver tailored solutions through advanced or improved models.

Build and implement machine learning models to predict behaviors, utilizing cutting-edge algorithms and techniques across machine learning disciplines.

Analyze statistical data and business intelligence to extract actionable insights that support organizational objectives.

Develop and integrate AI-based insights into existing information systems.

Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions for organizational products.

Initiate algorithmic research and prototype new ideas.

Lead the integration of models into organizational platforms, ensuring seamless deployment in production environments.

Requirements:

M.Sc. in Exact Sciences or Engineering with a relevant focus.

Proven experience of 5+ years in developing and deploying ML models in production environments within a business context- Must!

Expertise in statistical analysis, probability, and both classical and deep machine learning methods.

Ability to analyze academic literature and implement state-of-the-art solutions for operational or business needs.

Advanced proficiency in Python (including OOP) and working with data-related tools and ML/DL/RL libraries.

Hands-on experience with LLMs, open-source frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face), and implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) projects.

Strong SQL skills and experience in data analysis.

Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate, share knowledge, and integrate solutions effectively.

ETL development experience is an advantage.

Familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
