*Position Overview:*
HSL is seeking an experienced *Embedded Software Engineer* to join our team. This position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong background in embedded software development, particularly with real-time operating systems and ARM architectures.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Develop and maintain embedded software for various applications
* Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software with system components
* Design and implement peripheral drivers
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions
* Ensure efficient software configuration management and defect tracking

*Qualifications:*
* 3+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer
* Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
* Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
* Strong knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
* Experience in designing peripheral drivers
* Expertise in ARM architecture, specifically Cortex M3/M4 processors
* Familiarity with software configuration management tools and defect tracking systems

*Advantageous Skills:*
* Python programming experience
* Experience with video and USB technologies
