Controller, ADAMA Agan

ADAMA is one of the world’s leading agriculture crop protection companies and we are looking to recruit a highly skilled candidate to join our team as Controller, ADAMA Agan .

This position is based in our Ashdod plant in Israel.

Main Mission

The Agan Controller leads a team of Assistant Controllers & Bookkeepers and is accountable for the accounting operations and responsible for the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Reporting

Issue timely and complete financial statements and reporting to HQ.
Coordinate the preparation of the company annual report .
Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics .
Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts .
Provide for a system of management cost reports .
Provide financial analyses as needed.
Evaluate, select, and implement financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Compliance

Coordinate the provision of information to external and internal auditors.
Comply with all government reporting requirements and tax filings .
Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Education/Experience:

BA degree in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant - required. MBA – a plus.
Experience working for multi-national industrial companies with deep knowledge of IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements (SOX).
Experience working for parent/daughter publicly traded company
Experience working with global ERP system. SAP - a plus.
4 + years in controller roles
2+ years in finance team management.
