Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the Product Management teams to meet global targets and to plan, monitor, and develop a global product portfolio for strategic businesses. Each day, you will contribute to defining the business strategy, translate it along with market requirements into a competitive portfolio, and manage the associated portfolio planning, investment, and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by defining a go-to-market model and segment strategy and aligning them with the operational/execution path.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Leading a continuous business analysis of the existing portfolio and potential new portfolio items, including analysis of alternative investments, and reviewing potential partnering options.
Defining brand and product portfolio offering and positioning in cases of multi-brand ABB ownership.
Analyzing the content of the portfolio, continuously, with a focus on potential new products and identifying the needs, opportunities, risks, and ABB’s positioning against the competition.
Proposing and being directly involved in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) partnership activities, by defining the brand, offering portfolio, and related business strategies.
