A leading defense technology company is seeking an experienced Product Group Manager to lead multidisciplinary product development and transition advanced technologies into operational systems. Role Overview Lead product management for complex multidisciplinary defense systems Drive transition from R&D to field-ready operational products Define requirements, system specifications, and product roadmaps Manage cross-functional engineering teams (hardware, software, mechanical, RF, optical, systems) Work closely with R&D, integration, and operational stakeholders Oversee integration, testing, validation, and production readiness Translate operational needs into engineering and product requirements Electrical Engineering background – mandatory Experience in product management – mandatory Strong background in multidisciplinary systems – mandatory R&D experience – mandatory Experience managing teams (10+ people) – mandatory Experience in defense/mission-critical environments – mandatory Strong technical and system-level understanding Advantages RF / radar systems experience Mechanical integration experience MIL-STD familiarity Optical systems experience Manufacturing transition experience Background in defense companies
