Front End Developer

As a Front End Developer, you will join Shield's App team, help define our product, implement new features across multiple applications, and mentor your colleagues.

We are looking for someone passionate about what he does and capable of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

Ensuring our code is of the highest quality by practicing and evangelizing engineering best practices (code reviews, pairing, etc)
Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to our users.
Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite

Requirements:

4+ years of JavaScript programming experience using Angular 2+ – MUST
Strong HTML, CSS capabilities and ability to perform pixel-perfect tasks – MUST
Strong Typescript skills -MUST
Experience with NGRX or other state management tool - big advantage
Experience with Cypress or other JavaScript automation testing frameworks – big advantage
Familiarity with java – advantage
Experience with Storybook- advantage
Experience with Angular Material- advantage
Deep understanding in Angular's best practice architecture
Ability to successfully work under tight deadlines
Passionate about learning and always seek opportunities to expand your knowledge
Not afraid to roll up your sleeves and have a “Can Do” attitude
A team player with organizational skills to also work independently
