We are hiring a Data Engineer for a leading financial organization located in Central Israel.
Responsibilities:
-Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines and ETL processes
-Work with large-scale data processing frameworks, primarily using Spark, to manage and analyze massive datasets
-Develop and optimize Python code for data ingestion, transformation, and integration tasks
-Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles to build modular and reusable code components
-Manage and deploy data infrastructure and workflows within AWS environments
-Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across data platforms
-Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and optimize performance
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- 5 years of experience with Python
- 3 years of experience working with Object-Oriented Programming languages
- Hands-on experience with Spark for large-scale data processing
- 2 years of practical experience in an AWS environment
