Data Engineer

The company is located in Central Israel (prime high-tech hub) and operates a flexible hybrid work model.

Role Overview:

• Founding Data Function: Joining as the first Data authority in the company, taking full ownership of the end-to-end Data strategy and solution architecture.
• Customer-Facing Engineering: Partnering with major US-based clients to design, characterize, and implement scalable data solutions on the company’s SaaS platform.
• Modern Data Stack Integration: Leading POCs and complex integrations with industry-leading platforms including Snowflake, dbt, BigQuery, and Redshift.
• Scalable Architecture: Translating high-level business requirements into robust, production-grade Data Pipelines and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-On Leadership: Balancing high-level architectural thinking with deep-dive technical execution, from infrastructure design to complex troubleshooting.
• AI/LLM Innovation: Leveraging advanced data solutions to support AI/LLM-driven features and modern data intelligence.

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture – Mandatory.
• Proven track record in designing end-to-end Data Solutions from scratch – Mandatory.
• Expert-level proficiency in Modern Data Platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, Databricks, Airflow, etc.) – Mandatory.
• Extensive Cloud Experience: Designing and deploying data architectures on AWS, GCP, or Azure – Mandatory.
• Client-Facing Experience: Demonstrated ability to translate stakeholder needs into technical excellence – Mandatory.
• Mastery of SQL and deep understanding of complex data environments.
• Strong "Founding Member" mindset: highly independent, fast learner, and mission-driven
