Automation Engineer

The company is located in Central Israel (prime high-tech district with direct train access) and operates a flexible in-office model that prioritizes high-bandwidth collaboration and R&D excellence.

Role Overview:

• Founding Automation Function: Joining as the first and lead automation authority, taking 100% hands-on ownership of the testing infrastructure for a robust, multi-platform DLP agent.
• Modern Infrastructure Building: Designing and implementing a cutting-edge automation framework from scratch to validate a complex system running on Windows and macOS.
• E2E Strategy: Defining and executing the end-to-end automation strategy, including regression, compatibility, and high-performance testing.
• CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly integrating automation suites into modern CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable delivery cycles.
• Tech Stack Mastery: Utilizing Python (Pytest), TypeScript, and Playwright to build flexible and scalable testing tools.
• Technical Leadership: Serving as the key technical stakeholder for quality assurance and system verification within a lean, elite R&D team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Development – Mandatory.
• Core Programming Skills: Proven proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or Go – Mandatory.
• Leadership/Founding Experience: A track record of building automation infrastructures from the ground up or leading technical domains – Mandatory.
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Containers, and Virtualization – Mandatory.
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and modern cloud-native testing methodologies.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stakes startup environment.
