Job Description
We are seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our technical support team in a challenging and dynamic role, working closely with leading customers in the RF and communications domains.
This position combines advanced technical support, hands-on troubleshooting in customer environments, independent and team-based work, and end-to-end ownership of technical issues.
The engineer will serve as a key technical interface for customers, providing full technical support across all phases - from pre-sales, through integration, to post-sales technical issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced RF technical support to customers, including on-site visits.
- Diagnose and resolve complex and unfamiliar technical issues in test and measurement environments.
- Guide and support customers in the use of test & measurement equipment.
- Independently manage technical issues and maintain direct customer interaction.
- Collaborate closely with sales, R&D, and other technical teams.
- Deliver technical demonstrations and customer training sessions.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices to support continuous improvement and knowledge retention.
- Identify additional customer needs and highlight technical and business opportunities.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar technical role:
- Application Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, System Engineer, or Solution Engineer.
- Hands-on experience in RF / Microwave technologies.
- Experience working with test equipment such as:
- VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, and similar instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in unstructured environments.
- Ability to work independently with high ownership and decision-making capability in the field.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing communication skills.
- High level of English – written and spoken.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Strong service-oriented mindset combined with technical depth.
- High technical curiosity and strong motivation for continuous learning.
- Availability for a full-time position.
