IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
Job Summary:
As IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR you will enhance user experience with software programs, assisting employees and customers in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues. You will provide constant technical support to the organization. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the computer systems of the company are running smoothly. You will be in charge to install and configure new enterprise systems, hardware, and networks and train the non-technical staff to use them. You should be able to translate our internal clients’ needs into new high quality IT systems.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Duluth, GA USA and reports directly to the Sr. Director, IT.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manage, monitor and configure IT enterprise systems such as Azure AD, MS Share point, Source code management systems etc.
• Provide technical solutions to support the company global operational needs
• Improve and add additional functionality to existing / new workflows on various IT solutions
• Manage and comply with system security standards, organize security groups and govern system access and permissions
• Automate operational processes using MS tools and applications, power shell scripts and Atlassian technology
• Serves as a first point of contact for inquiries from users on a variety of software and hardware issues.
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent question assistance over the phone
• Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by employees.
• Set up equipment for new hires and assists with on-boarding
• Assist users with installation of software and troubleshooting of related problems; refers more complicated issues to appropriate staff.
• Communicate regularly with other members of the support team to discuss recurring problems and to share solutions and best practices.
• Provide accurate and timely information on IT products or services
• Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
• Follow-up and update employee status and information
• Attend training sessions on new equipment, software, platforms, and other products; assist with development of user manuals and similar documentation for these products.
• As experience increases, provide training on hardware and software use to end users.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Thorough understanding of computer software and hardware, including desktop computers, laptops, network devices, and peripherals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills with strong focus on quality service to our internal customers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of work-related experience with Microsoft system administration
• Strong technical experience with supporting / managing and configuring MS365 products
• Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA / Confluence)
• Experience with share point operation and configuration
• System and network experience, understanding of LAN/WAN/VPN configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience with Azure, Azure AD / SSO solutions
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
• Power Shell Scripting
• Experience with Workday and NetSuite is a plus (HR & ERP systems experience important)
• Previous experience working for a global company supporting users internationally
• Strong technical experience troubleshooting PC/Mac OS issues
• Experience installing Mac OS/ PC Windows fresh out of the box
• Experience with IT helpdesk support

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
