Position Overview:

We are seeking a Software Design and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team at the MOD. This role involves creating detailed software design documents and conducting rigorous testing to ensure the developed software meets our high standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and functionalities.
• Create comprehensive software design documents that serve as a blueprint for developers.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans to ensure software functionality, performance, and security.
• Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or issues.
• Analyze usage data and adapt software designs to meet project requirements.
• Prepare slideshows to showcase the impact of project decisions.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to the development team to improve software quality.
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and ensure the software meets their expectations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software design and testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software design and quality assurance testing.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with Next.js, React, and modern web technologies is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
