Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Prototype Test Technician to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for testing prototypes of products using state-of-the-art equipment and technology, including VRG testers and Hontec handlers.
Your expertise in electronics, software, and mechanical troubleshooting will be crucial as you ensure the quality, reliability, and adherence to specifications of ICs and other electromechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test prototypes of products using VRG testers and Hontec handlers.
- Implement knowledge in electronics, software, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Utilize measuring technologies and instruments to assess ICs for quality and reliability.
- Perform electrical/mechanical and/or software troubleshooting to diagnose issues in equipment.
- Set up, calibrate, and perform basic debugging on testing equipment.
- Provide logistic support including material handling, distribution to laboratory customers, and inventory management.
- Generate reports for development and validation departments.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a test technician.
- Proven experience with VRG testers, Hontec handlers, and other relevant testing equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies is a plus.
